up to 123 gallons per minute at 1.5 feet per second. Open
surface area of the drain cover is 27 square inches and is
designed to shed hair away from the flow of water to eliminate
hair entrapment. Constructed of UV protected, chemically
resistant, NSF 61 certified PVC material and includes T-316

existing Hayward or Pentair 9" x 9" grates. Install the adapter
plate inside the existing frame (Hayward frames require the use
of the spacer inserts provided with kit), re-using the original
manufacturer's provided screws to attach the adapter to the
frame, and then attach the anti-entrapment cover to the adapter.

The only drain cover with an anti-hair entanglement design
available for swimming pools. It works on a self-shedding
principal through a hi-low step design as the bather raises
their head . This hi-low design along with the dome shape of the
cover also prevents a child from forming a vacuum seal over the
drain eliminating the hazard of suction or body entrapment.
Complies with ASME/ANSI standard A112.19.8M-1996, strength,
stiffness and safe flow rates for suction fittings for use in
