This heavy-duty brass self-priming pump is specifically designed for commercial and public swimming pools and spa, water parks and fountains where high performance and self-priming characteristics are desired. Exceptional self-priming design allows this pump to be installed above or below water level. Made of cast iron with enclosed bronze impeller, Sta-Rite pumps feature standard 4" x 6" flange connections, JM open drip-proof motors and NEMA "C" flange design with sleeved stainless steel shaft. An oversized, 1,100 cu. in. hair and lint strainer holds a large quantity of debris and reduces maintenance. Backend pull-out design enables servicing of normal wearing parts without disconnecting piping. The dimensions of these pumps make them highly compatible for new and retrofit installations.
