The Vac-Alert Safety Vacuum Release System is a device that provides vacuum release at a suction outlet caused by a high vacuum occurrence due to suction outlet flow blockage. This non-electric, low maintenance safety system has a millisecond, automatic response time. Spring loaded pistons react quickly to high vacuum conditions and open to atmosphere to release the life-threatening suction. Made of non-corrosive PVC with stainless steel parts for long term durability, the Vac-Alert is totally mechanical and easy to install. 1 1/2" socket connection. Stingl Switch Safety Vacuum Release System

The Stingl SR-500 Safety Vacuum Release System has been designed to terminate pump operation in the event of a potential body or limb entrapment caused by suction entrapment and complies with all required codes and standards. It satisfies two types of acceptable devices under the new Pool and Spa Safety Act, being both a safety vacuum release system (SRVS) and an automatic pump shut-off system. It works by monitoring the vacuum on the influent side of the pump. The vacuum reading is monitored 128 times per second. When a blockage occurs in the main drain or skimmers, the sudden rise in vacuum will cause the switch to shut down the pump and activate an audible alarm. The pump will remain off with the alarm sounding until manually reset. Stingl Switch is self-diagnosing and provides error read-out information that will assist when troubleshooting. Hayward Stratum Vacuum Release System

The Stratum is the perfect additional layer of protection in suction entrapment prevention as it is the only vacuum release system to both vent the pump suction line to atmosphere and turn off the power to the pump motor. It effectively monitors the suction pressure in single or multiple suction outlet (drain) systems which share a common line. The Stratum works with pump motors up to 7.5 HP in both single and three phase as long as the pump is wired to an appropriate motor starter. It features an automatic restart after certain activations and is programmed with an internal checking system that performs performance diagnostics during each start-up. It meets requirements set forth in the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool Spa Safety Act and all relevant ASME/ANSI performance standards. Installs easily in one hour.

Emotron PSP20 Pool Pump Automatic Shut Off System

This automatic pump shut off system uses the existing pump's motor to detect a drain blockage and quickly shut off the pump. The Emotron's patented shaft power monitoring technology monitor the motor's power on single and three phase pumps. Fully assembled control panel installs between the pump's existing control panel and the pump motor in less than one hour, and programming and calibration takes only a few minutes. The Emotron is not affected by backwashing and pool vacuuming and does not need to be disabled. It complies with ASME A112.19.17-2002 and is UL listed to UL 508A.

Intelliflo VS-SVRS Pump

The Intelliflo VS+SVRS pump provides a virtually fail-safe, tamper-proof entrapment protection solution with a built-in controller, proprietary software, and backup safety features. This pump meets the ASME A112.19.17 standards, complying with the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act SVRS requirements. It is also NSF certified and UL, ETL listed. Built-in SVRS does not require any calibration with all detection and shut-down functions pre-programmed in the software. SVRS protection functions also can not be disabled. If for any reason the Intelliflo VS+SVRS pump's controller becomes inoperable, the pump will not run, providing an added layer of safety. It features a 2" FPT suction inlet and discharge outlet threaded connection and a clear "see thru" strainer lid. Pump body is constructed of glass filled polypropylene thermoplastic. Includes a 230-volt, single-phase motor that pulls a maximum of 16 AMPS. Requires a 20-AMP, 2-pole, 230-volt circuit breaker for operation.
