SDS Exercise Ball

Thera-band's SDS (Slow Deflate System) exercise balls are made of a specially formulated vinyl compound that holds its integrity if punctured. These balls take an average of 8-10 minutes to deflate, making them ideal for use in situations where safety is a primary concern. Exercise balls are ideal for back strengthening programs to improving posture and prevent back pain, and for overall strengthening of the abdominals, chest, arms, legs and buttocks while improving balance and coordination. Thera-Band SDS exercise balls have been weight tested to 1,000 pounds and are available in five sizes to meet various height requirements.
